STAGE · Automatic gain-staging

Measure, then trim.

STAGE listens to your loudest pass and measures it, the 95th-percentile level, not one stray transient. Then it suggests a single static trim to land that pass on your target. No riding, no pumping, no colour. Peak, RMS, VU or LUFS.

EVEN · Loudness-matched A/B

Compare, level-matched.

Louder always sounds better, so a fair A/B has to be level-matched. EVEN gains the two paths to equal perceived loudness, switch blind and vote, then reveal the tally. Judge the sound, never the volume.

A single fixed gain change adds zero colour, zero pumping, zero latency. It is the most transparent thing you can do to a signal, and because it never moves, your mix stays predictable.

Measures the loud pass
Always listening, no arm button. A running 95th-percentile level: loud enough to matter, robust against a one-off transient.

Your target, your metric
Land the pass on a target in Peak, RMS, VU or LUFS. Quick pills for the analog, streaming, hot and club levels.

SOURCE presets
Vocal, Drum, Bass or Master set the target and metric as a pair, and STAGE even guesses the source for you.

True-peak safe
After it sets the trim, STAGE runs a 4× oversampled inter-sample check and tells you the post-trim dBTP, green when it survives the codec.

Click-free, instant
The trim applies over a 10 ms ramp, so there is never a click, and it adds no latency to your chain.

One click stages the whole mix
Every STAGE is a satellite. They link to each other across the session, so one main instance can trigger them all. Hit SET ALL once and every channel lands on its target: a full mix gain-staged in a single click.

Loudness-matched
EVEN gains the louder leg down to match the quieter one, so the comparison is fair and nothing clips.

Randomise A and B, vote for the one you prefer, then reveal the running tally. Your ears decide, not your bias.

A/B the chain on one channel with an internal tap, or link a pair across up to 64 channels by name, latency-aligned automatically.
